The Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) is hosting Energy 2007: Ideas to Action November 27-28, 2007, in Ottawa. This conference, geared to industry representatives is billed as a unique opportunity for individuals to network and exchange ideas on tapping into energy-saving opportunities in Canada’s industrial sector. The two-day event will include presentations on the latest and most cost-effective techniques for improving energy performance, and practical technical and financial strategies for making energy efficiency projects viable. There is also a trade show where participants can network with Canada’s top energy management services companies.

At the conference, CIPEC Leadership Awards will be presented to companies that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation in the pursuit of energy efficiency.
