In 1999, CTI was invited by the Canada Revenue Agency to establish a Textile Sector Committee for the Scientific Research & Experimental Development tax credit program. It consists of CRA officials and textile company representatives. Its purpose is to improve communications and to facilitate access to the program by textile manufacturers.
